Clubs & Wine Bar Renovation
In the world of clubs, bars, pubs, and karaoke lounges, the patron’s experience, be it in the taste, smell, mood, and atmosphere, is your lifeblood of the business. Your business is about giving customers what they want. Sometimes even customers do not know what they want, and the most interesting part is creating what the customers would have wanted given that there isn’t any yardstick to compare within the market.
It may be your new business frontier or an existing premise which needs some rejuvenating and spicing up. The overall idea is the same as our interior designers need to coordinate with the existing hardware (if it is a partial renovation) or give a design theme life in drawing customers into patronising your business.
Creating the right environment and experience would mean a tinge of imagination to the desired outcome of your business premises. With many years of experience renovating the lounge and bar scene in Singapore, we know the dos and don’t and will be the right team of people who can give you appropriate advice and make designs a reality.
But wait, the interior of the restaurant is only part of the equation. How will first-time customers notice your lounge/bar/club if they are outside looking in? The exterior look of the premise, coupled with the right signages, billboards or banners are important to draw the curiosity of these customers. Of course with the many rules in Singapore, not every business is allowed to create billboards or banners. This is where we could advise, both in designs and the relevant regulations in Singapore.

Washrooms
Sometimes the least attractive area of your business may be the most talked about topic of your customers. Ever walked into a nice shopping mall but had to wait a long time for your visit to that cubicle? The washroom is one place that should not be too cramped to give a bad impression. We are talking about a whole suite of experience, hence washrooms play a part in how many customers would want to come back for a second visit. This area should also be given full attention during the design process.
Kitchens and Bars
These areas will be where you need to have your best guys to be there to make the experience of taste and smell happen! Of course not forgetting the valuable services provided by the waiters & waitresses.
Having a well-designed and ergonomic area for these guys to work in, it does help in labour retention. Certain pitfalls need to take note of when designing a good kitchen. Your chefs should not be wasting time walking to the serving pick-up point after food is done. How can the design be efficient such that the chefs are close to the pick-up point, while not too far away from the cooking area, and at the same time the proximity does not affect the overall “oily” odour within the premises? We are well-aware of these and hence the team is a great source of advice during the design phase if you need them.

Note: Furnishings, although equally important in the overall design, are important elements in keeping your space clean. A classic example is a table with lots of joints or “hiding places” for insects. You can have the best cleaning staff available, but your cooking staff or customers may leave food debris within these tiny spaces and create an infestation.
